How Severe is My Babies’ Diaper Rash?

  • Moderate dry skin/flaked skin

Moderate Diaper Rash

  • Redness  appears on broader area of skin
  • Intense redness on some parts of skin
  •  Area(s) with rash (papule) become slightly swollen, there might be some rash with fluid or pus (pustule)
  • Mild skin exfoliation
  • Swollen (edema) might appear

Severe Diaper Rash

  • Intense redness on broader area of skin
  • Severe skin exfoliation
  • Severe swelling (edema) on skin
  • Outer skin exfoliation, followed by bleeding
  • Rash appears in broader area of skin (papule)
  • A lot of rash containing fluid or pus (pustule)

  • If your babies crying when their diaper rash is being touched

  • If the rash is chafed and starting to bleed
